  1. As they say in Cuba….”que Dios nos coja confesados!” This is so idiotic! I am just too tired to have a tantrum about this. Had a D&C yesterday. I specifically told the anesthetist that I didn’t want a tube down my throat, to just put a drip on an IV and send me to Timbuktu. He intubated me, and now I have a sore throat and my neck hurts, and so do my teeth. They probably shoved it down my mouth. I’m great from the D&C, but the tube killed me. I guess they think that because I am 68, suffer from high blood pressure and am Type II diabetic, that I could throw a clot or go into a coma, or something, and they did it as a way of prevention; still, my throat feels like crap. Also, because I am so obsessive about cleaning in my old age, I woke up around 9:30, after falling asleep around 2 a.m., and started dusting because I had people coming over in the afternoon. I also made turkey picadillo and brown rice. I am beyond exhausted right now. I am a sleep resister. I guess I think there will be plenty of time to sleep when I die, although it can be quite exciting in heaven, I’m sure.

How awesome that Elise is going on a mission trip to Bolivia! I wish I would have done things like that when I was younger. I already told her that I’m mailing a check on Monday, and that I forwarded the letter to Alex and Erin. They had a couple of busted water pipes in the house, and have had a lot of expenses, but I’m sure they’ll donate something.

Hope Gabriel is keeping his eyes open. How is Lizette doing in her new apartment? Enjoy your summer. May God always keep you strong of spirit. Love,

    Mari Z.

    • Oh no! So sorry to hear that! Pero que cosa, you have to take it easy! Please take care of yourself. You’re too important 🙂
Everything is going well and the kids are doing well. Gabriel’s eyes have been open for almost 2 weeks now! Thank you so much for your support of Elise. She is very excited about this. Love you ❤
