Today my stats show my blog has been viewed 10,000 times in the span of about a year. I usually do not notice that number in the middle of my admin page, but that number just jumped out at me! While I know that there are blogs out there that are viewed a thousand times a day or more, I do feel honored that my writing, though often times uninteresting or irrelevant, has been followed and read so many times.
Thank you, readers, for all your “likes”, “comments”, and words of encouragement. Writing is a form of therapy for me. This blog is the place where I express my thoughts and emotions, and I am grateful there are people out there who sometimes feel encouraged and entertained by it.

Congratulations!!! I think the reason for your blogging success is the fact that you are so incredibly honest in your writing, and have the ability to offer a lesson in life for your readers. You also share your ups and downs, and your family with us. By doing so, you open a window into who you are that is very intimate.
I’ve been thinking of starting a blog, but my style would probably be too raw and geared to social justice. People don’t like to be confronted by what goes on in the world. I have seen that from my Facebook posts. My posts with silly cartoons get comments, while the serious ones get zilch.
Keep up the good work! I hope Gabriel’s eyes are still open and Lizette’s life is coming along peacefully.

You should do it! Start that blog and write about social justice. Blogging sometimes is more about what you need to say than what people want to hear. Plus, blogging and facebook are two separate worlds.
